Rewrite the Stars is my love letter to Tere Bin, a collection of one-shots where I grab the threads of Murtasim and Meerab's world and pull them into new shapes. Dive in if you're ready to feel the ache, the passion, and maybe a little bit of that chaos we all fell for. Updates whenever inspiration strikes-because some stories refuse to stay still.

and hope to die... Meerab Arsalan had it all. The warm, healthy childhood, perfect teeth, stellar education, the best friends a girl could ask for, enough money to live a comfortable life & still have some left over every month for the Net-A-Porter hauls, & most importantly, the drop dead gorgeous, sinfully charismatic soulmate who was as amazing on the inside as he looked on the outside. Until she was faced with the daunting realisation that he wasn't all roses, warm honey & Victoria Sponge cake on the inside as she'd thought him to be... Delta Force operative Murtasim would've sooner made himself sniper target practice at the Fort Bragg HQ base than entertained the thought of a 'girl next door' variety female stumbling into his life (and his mission), wrapping him around her tiny, adorably plump pinky, & getting him to the alter all within a few months of knowing her And yet here he was, still alive & being dragged around Charlotte, North Carolina for cake tastings & tuxedo fittings by the said 'girl next door' variety female. And to say he loved it would be an overstatement, but to say he adored the living daylights out of her wouldn't be. Until someone decided they wanted to take the one thing he adored in the big bad world away from him. Pasts resurfaced, monsters roared all around, and worse, the ones inside him were unleashed until he wasn't just fighting for her, but fighting her to make sure they somehow made it back to the pretty picket fence, porch swing, & breakfasts in bed life they'd dreamed of. A short story by DelilahUpInTheClouds. Cover by the talented moonshine_1 The hero's & heroine's first names have been inspired by PTV show Tere Bin.

"Meri kya aukaat hai aur us agreement ki kya haisiyat hai, tumhe abhi bataata hoon!" ~*~ The doors are shut. Emotions are running high for both Meerab and Murtasim, be it rage, jealousy, contempt or love. The lines between them are blurrier than ever. Will Murtasim commit an unforgivable crime that could ruin his relationship with Meerab forever? ~*~ Note: This is a reimagining of what happened "behind closed doors" immediately after the last scene of episode 46. I know that the 'Tere Bin' fandom has gone through a lot in the last few days, and quite frankly, the dark turn the story was supposed to take in episodes 46-47 where a marital rape was to take place upset me a great deal, much like everyone else. Even though the makers have retconned the assault due to audiences' backlash and added voiceovers trying to convey that the consummation was consensual, it is not the least bit convincing. My attempt with this OS is to make sense of the current storyline and hypothesise as to why Meerab and Murtasim feel so much dread and regret (bordering on trauma) in the current scenario, having consummated their relationship consensually (even though we know why they are behaving the way they are according to the original storyline). The narration is close to stream of consciousness form since it serves to give us a better insight into Meerab's thoughts. I know its a sensitive topic for many, and I've tried to make the events in the OS as organic and trigger-free as possible. But of course, I'd still caution extra sensitive readers to tread carefully. Nevertheless, I hope I'm able to do the story and the characters justice!

Some love stories don't end. They unravel. Meerab Ahmed knew walking into that party was a mistake. The weight of a hundred stares, the whispers curling in the air like smoke - she should have turned back. But pride is a fickle thing, and she was never one to back down. And then she saw him. Murtasim Khan. Her past. Her once-upon-a-time. Her almost-forever. Standing tall, unshaken, dressed in power and silk. By his side? The woman he was supposed to marry. It should have been fine. She should have been fine. Except nothing about them was ever that simple. Because love like theirs never truly dies - it lingers, waiting to be reignited or reduced to ash. And when fate throws them together once more, in the hush of a storm-soaked night, they are left with a choice: walk away for good... or surrender to the fire that never really burned out. A story of love, longing, and the ache of what-ifs - Phir Le Aaya Dil is a second-chance romance that asks: Can you ever really outrun the love that was meant for you?

The whispers spread like wildfire: Murtasim Khan had proposed marriage to the Maliks. Though disguised as an olive branch, anyone with a brain could see the cold tactics involved in this power play. Marrying Malik Mukhtar's only daughter would mean that Murtasim Khan would have rights to every ancestral property of the Maliks, and his heirs would inherit the legacy of two powerful clans. It was a power move that the onlookers knew the Maliks would have to concede to, men and women harboring a fearful admiration for Murtasim Khan's relentless pursuit for power. But was that all? Was riches, land, and unmatched authority the only motive for the proposal? Or were they even a part of the motive? Was Meerab Malik soon-to-be Khan, just a pawn in this game of chess, or was she the Queen, the King's fiercest protector? PS: Not the regular Enemies-to-lovers
