Desperate for love and a place to belong, Leo Ward has lived his life in silence. After a traumatic childhood incident, he lost his voice and was taken in by adoptive parents who treated him more like a servant than a son. Every day, he dreamed of escaping their cruel home. His dream came true...but not the way he expected. When cold and domineering CEO Adrian Hale discovers that Leo once saved his life years ago, he appears out of nowhere, announcing that he will be his husband. Leo, too shocked to speak and seeing his escape, can only obey. After marriage, he starts to record his thoughts in a hidden journal. "If he regrets this...I'll leave quietly." But Adrian finds the journal. Instead of anger, he smirks, lifts Leo's chin, and whispers. "Who said I regret marrying you? I like my silent husband just the way he is." And from that moment, Leo's quiet world begins to shatter in the most intoxicating way.
