The year is 1990 and Crystal Nelson has enlisted to bootcamp as a marine, but as she steps on the recruitment bus to her new life she suddenly finds out there's been a huge mistake...she's the only girl! Throughout her challenges during bootcamp she slowly begins to be romantic with non other than Nicholas Slovecek, will this new found romance distract her from her goals? Disclaimer: This story is HIGHLY based on the Netflix series called Boot (which I definitely suggest you watch, though it is not a requirement to understanding this story!) I do not own the series in any way, including the characters mentioned or any of the cover art/photographs being used. The only character I own is Crystal Nelson, however as this series goes on, I may create more but I will say so in an authors note at the end of the chapter they are introduced. This is a completely fan-made story and is not intended for profit in any ways. Additionally, I will try to avoid mischaracterization as much as possible but it won't be perfect! Disclaimer: This is the clean version which still includes swears and the slight description of sensual activities (kissing) but has not smut in it whatsoever, i will make a non-clean version of this work so read that one if you wish to read some smut(keep in mind that will be my first writing of smut so it'll probably terribly :D)

Jamil, a shy and gentle omega, endured daily torment from bullies. His quiet nature made him an easy target, and he found refuge only within himself. One brutal afternoon, cornered and despairing, he was unexpectedly rescued by Jake, the school's dominant alpha. Jake, tall, handsome, and radiating quiet authority, dispersed Jamil's tormentors with a silent command. He offered Jamil not just a rescue, but a lifeline-a chance to be safe, seen, and understood. In Jake's steady gaze, Jamil felt the stirrings of a connection he'd never dared to dream of, a hope for healing his bruised heart.
