While fighting the Vulture, Spiderman (AKA Peter Parker) finds that this isn't a normal fight. When the rest of the Sinister Six comes into play, the Spider accidentally steps into a portal thinking it's one of Mysterio's illusions. Now, he's in Gotham with no money, no help, and absolutely no clue as to how he's going to get home. Unbeknownst to Peter, the Sinister Six was caught up in the whirlpool of a portal, and have also landed themselves into this world.
