This is a Ninjago story about 16 year old Lloyd that can't take it anymore from the bullying he gets at school and the hate from the Ninjago citizens . So Lloyd runs away from home and is now missing. The ninja go crazy finding him. Especially Kai and Nya. (NOT MY ART!!)

This book contains high levels of cringe and bad spelling. After Lloyd almost took over the city with his oni form, he doesn't feel like himself. His eyes glow purple at times, he keeps having these horrible nightmares. He feels as the light inside of him is fading away. His friends seem to notice, but the one who is the most worried is Nya, the one who saved him from the night the Overlord was defeated. Lloyd is scared of the other side of him, but when true darkness comes out from the shadows, he must learn to live with this side of him, in order to save the day.....even if he must become what he feared most.(The cover is not mine) All Rights Reserved

Lloyd Garmadon is dead. After 3 years of grieving, the ninjas are ready to honor their beloved ninja's legacy. But they need a leader.....And everyone seems to agree Arin is right for the job....Expect Arin...But he will do anything to make his teacher proud from above.... But it still puts Arin in a tight spot. With the guilt of all of what he has done to Lloyd....And it also doesn't help that Lloyd's death are always for vivid whenever he closes his eyes.....But he will get through it...Won't he? Won't he and the ninjas ever accept the fact that Lloyd Garmadon is....Gone?

Timeline not same as the show. It's totally different. No one knows what had happened to Kai right after the merge. They mostly just brushed it off as mystery. But occasionally, some of the ninja would ask him what happened, and he would just brush it off as "It's fine." The ninja know it's not fine. Every time Kai got asked that question or if the topic came up, he would just clam up. Wouldn't speak much. Wouldn't answer and change the subject most of the time. And if he did answer, it would just be short and irritated. But Nya senses Kai's hurt. He's traumatised, she thinks. Nya wants to find out. And Kai would do everything not to let her know. I don't own Ninjago Dragons Rising.
