Mel Nxumalo is fresh out of rehab without a compass for a way forward, barely hanging by a thread. When old wounds reopen and unresolved grievances resurface, she is pulled by the bounds of temptation to go back to her old ways, however fate had other plans for her... in the past.
Transported to the 1800s, she finds a reflection of herself in her ancestor, Nomvula. A headstrong girl with an unflinching unwill to falter in the midst of a storm. As she traces back to her roots and comes to find her footing, can she find a way to go back to her true reality in the present or will this new life come to have a place in her heart so much that she is unwilling to leave?
What will be her new reality, the past or the present time?
