"I have no jar of sweet honey between my arms," I murmured, my voice soft, "No shy lamb trailing innocently behind me. I offer to you, Queen of the Gods, only what I owe as of now: my mind, and my body." As if my blood could become ambrosia, and she could see her beloved moon in the grey of my eyes, and not a general's blood dirtying my royalty. A whisper of the night breeze brushed my name on my skin. Arke Basileus. And yet, none had spoken. ~~~~~~~ A pair of silver eyes crinkle at the moon, and shadowy fingers start untangling the golden thread, as fresh as youth. It is said no man can escape from the Moires; not even princes of Arcadia, not even the Queen of the Gods. And when Eros shoots his silver arrow, they will glimpse Fate's face. Awards & Honors: More Wins Listed Inside 1st Place: Best Plot/Concept in The Inked and Unwritten Awards 2026 3rd place: Best Title in The Flow Micro Awards 2026 On the morning she should have been finalizing wedding plans, Cassandra Vale is torn from her life by a summoning ritual that mistakes desperation for destiny. She awakens in a foreign court alongside four other strangers, each pulled from unfinished lives and private futures. Jason Calloway looks like he lives in the gym and believes strength can solve anything. William James prefers silence and observation to conversation. Vivian Sterling built a life through screens and attention, now stranded in a world that doesn't care who's watching. And Alexander Mercer-the effortless golden boy-hides the truth behind a smile that disarms everyone. Together, they are declared heroes. A world on the brink of collapse claims it had no choice. Demons press against failing seals. Ancient protections crumble. And those in power believe salvation can be taken from another reality, if the need is great enough. But the summoned are not grateful. Being chosen doesn't make you a hero. It makes you a resource. And Cassandra Vale never agreed to be merciful. From the moment they arrive, it becomes clear the ritual was flawed, the explanations incomplete, and the cost deliberately obscured. Cassandra recognizes the pattern immediately. She's read these stories. She knows the roles being offered, the expectations being placed, and the quiet demand for obedience that follows. Playing along may be the only way to survive-but that doesn't mean she intends to accept it. As grief hardens into anger and fragile alliances form, the summoned heroes agree to help a world that stole them. Not because they believe in destiny. Not because they were chosen. But because innocent lives are caught in the middle. This is not a story about divine heroes. It's about a forced kidnapping that tries to turn them into one.

Trigger Warning Graphic violence and murder are depicted in detail. This chapter (and the entire story) contains explicit descriptions of killing. If you are sensitive to such content, please skip this story. In 1973 Brooklyn, a quiet, anxious teenager makes a choice that changes everything. What begins as a solution to fear turns into something darker, colder, and harder to stop. Told in an unflinching first-person voice, A Killer's Way is a brutal, intimate look at violence, justification, and the lies we tell ourselves to sleep at night. This isn't a story about justice. It's about why.

After years of adventuring together and being around each other, Megumin and Kazuma got married and decided to have kids. They ended up having a set of twins, a boy and a girl. Even though they still go on adventures, they wouldn't trade their little kids for anything. This is a fanfiction of Konosuba, mostly an after story.
