When you are lost without the only one you can't live without, you can't see the danger in front of you. Together, they must persevere against the people who hate their existence. No matter the fight they must stay together, trust each other and know that even if they aren't related their families will also be there for them. You can't wait for Mr. Right to come and save you. You can't ignore what your bear is telling you.

Last edited April '23 ------ Shifters had ruled the good and the bad of Nina's life, well mostly the bad. The only good shifter she knew was her father. Even then she couldn't count on him to tell her the truth. The only thing Nina could count on was herself. Her logic, her control, and her sound mind... which she can count on around Todd. Todd loved a good manual, guidelines, recipes, rule book, whatever you call it. He followed them to the letter, how to fix an engine, how to build to house, how to keep the plants alive. They made life easy. All Todd wants out of life was a mate that followed the textbook. Though no rule book could prepare him for Nina. Will Nina discover that Todd is someone she could count on? or will Todd discover that some mates aren't worth ignoring the manual for?

Last edit Jun '23 Grace is stuck, lost, and feeling a little stupid. How could she think this was a good idea? She was supposed to look after her sister and cousin, not get conned into a road trip with their dead-beat mother. Now they were in hicksville-nowhere shifter town with the police deputy calling her his mate? What? But how could she even think of being his mate when she is stuck in some nowhere town with her sister and cousin, who she is responsible for? She had to get them all home. Does she even want to go home? Being the Silver Thread Valley police deputy was a tough job. But Logan was living the good life.
