Castiel awakes from a coma with amnesia and a supposed husband. Cas struggles with his memories, his health, and the journey to rediscover his feelings for Dean.

Sam is in an accident that renders him unconscious in the psych ward for a few days. Dean visits him but someone else has caught his attention: a quiet boy with a tragic past. Dean ultimately befriends this strange boy with hopes of getting him to speak and live easier. He is definitely not expecting the events that unfold. Au. No supernatural beings of any sort. He lives in a small town with his brother and goes to college, like any normal boy. But there's also a twist to Dean. His college years were horrible. A group of boys made it living hell and Dean found it impossible to stay alive. Just when he thought things could never improve, there's a new boy in town. And he goes to the same college as Dean. He quickly realises that this boy means something to him. Can Cas save Dean and keep him alive any longer? The answer is yes, he can. Dean and Cas soon find themselves in a very committed relationship. They'd do anything for eachother. But Cas starts doing things behind Deans back, and it's having a bad effect on him. And the tables turn. Can Dean save Cas and keep him alive any longer?

The wings that you have is the opposite color of your soulmates wings. For example; Black and white go together. When you meet your soulmate you just know it and it's the best feeling in the world. John felt that way with Mary. They both died unfortunately and they were buried. So, Dean and Sam are on there own. When you turn 16 you first get your wings. Dean is turning 16 and so is Castiel. Dean doesn't know Castiel exists and Castiel doesn't know Dean exists. That is until Castiel gets transferred to Dean's school.
