1 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑 ──────── ₊⋆☽◯☾⋆₊ ──────── Blood Red Roses is a 𝒑𝒐𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒄 memoir of becoming, an 𝒖𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 of myself, one fragile 𝒑𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒍 at a time. This collection traces my journey through the 𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒍𝒆 and 𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒅 years of teenagehood. Through each poem, you would get a glimpse of 𝒓𝒂𝒘 and 𝒖𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 moments of love, heartbreak, loss, confusion and even 𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒔 of 𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚. The title is more than just a name : it is a 𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒓 of growth and acceptance . Each year, each experience was a petal 𝒖𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 . Some were 𝒔𝒐𝒇𝒕 like teenage innocence while others were 𝒋𝒂𝒈𝒈𝒆𝒅, 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅 with blood, 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 by heartbreak and 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 in reaching. Some were glowing 𝒓𝒆𝒅 under the eternal 𝒔𝒖𝒏𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 of euphoria while others were 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 due to the 𝒅𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 of insecurity and 𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒔 of pent up emotions . But together these roses compose the bouquet of my becoming. Now I offer this bouquet to you, dear reader, and hope you find petals of your own and embrace the garden you are meant to be. ──────── ₊⋆☽◯☾⋆₊ ──────── ⟪ a c h i e v e m e n t s ⟫ 🥇 1st Place under "Best Blurb Award" in "The Hollowed Verse Awards" ⟪ r a n k i n g s ⟫ #3 in spokenwordpoetry - 24/09/25 #3 in poesia - 12/01/26 #2 in spokenword - 12/01/26 #1 in prose - 12/01/26 #4 in poetrycollection - 12/01/26 #1 in memoir - 12/01/26 #10 in poem - 10/11/25 #2 in freeverse - 08/11/25

A collection of poems so that my sunshine would always keep smiling ☺️ And also if I write poems to dedicate someone present here or in my life. Well mostly it will be a collection of confidence, self love and motivation. And since I love butterflies so much, this would be a perfect start. 🦋 Butterfly 🦋 It as a whole, so vivid and bright Makes it difficult to take away the sight Nature painted flowers are their throne Even flowers can't deny these flattery con But they were not always like this Never welcomed by any flying kiss Rather hated , trolled and mocked But this transformation, left all shocked How can someone so ugly, be so pretty Who was shamed, now owns the crown of beauty How could it survive that hate Who has written its fate? It's a self made diva out there Others hurtful words and despair- Could not stop her to shine. Then why can't I have mine? Why can't I shut others damn mouth ? Why can't I overcome my self doubt? Transform my invisibility into a boon, And get into the self esteem cocoon. I will show all out there what I am ? I will draw the line of my palm. If it can do then why can't I ? I can too be a butterfly . -SANCHITA SAHU-

"Wounds that whisper " explores the lasting pain of childhood trauma and the invisible battles that follow. Amidst fear and isolation, it honours the quiet strength of a true friend - someone who stays by your side without judgement, offering calm, steady support when it's ended the most. It's a tribute to those rare souls whose presence can turn pain into healing, even without words.
