Years after the war between the Autobots and Decepticons Starscream wants nothing to do with ether faction. And ponders his place in the universe. But when a new threat rises and Optimus Prime goes missing will this former Decepticon become the hero Cybertron needs?

It was supposed to be a simple recon mission into an abandoned energon mine. Jack didn't expect for the Decepticons to be there, and for the mine to collapse. He didn't expect to be at the mercy of Megatron.

The Autobots find an energon mine, however, so do the Decepticons. Due to an attack from the Decepticons' warship, the Ground Bridge overloads, enabling Rachet to bridge Team Prime back to base.
