When a young girl vanishes from a city playground, the case appears to mirror a decades-old kidnapping that was never solved. As SVU detectives Olivia Benson, Elliot Stabler, and their newest partner Grace Miller investigate, the reopened cold case begins exposing buried records, sealed identities, and a connection far closer to home than anyone expected. The squad realizes the current abduction may not be a copycat at all, but a message from someone who has been waiting years to finish what he started.

Benson and Stabler have been together about four years, partnered that is. Both of our favorite detectives are convinced they've managed to suppress their feelings, but a day on the lake changes the way they see each other...
