Straight Road is a coming-of-age short chapter story about Lucas, a disinterested high schooler, and Simon, the smart, kind "nerd" who slowly changes his life. What starts as an assigned school project grows into an unexpected friendship, then into something deeper as Lucas navigates tutoring, jealousy, self-discovery, and his feelings for Simon. Through awkward moments, misunderstandings, and supportive (if meddling) friends, Lucas learns that the path he thought his life was on isn't as straight as he once believed and that finding who you are often means taking a few unexpected turns.

For her first mission, the young Force Captain Adora is incharged of conquering a village supposely inhabited by dangerous rebells. During the battle, she's injured and is left behind by the Horde army. Adora gets rescued by two rebells: princess Glimmer and her best friend, Bow. Despite Bow's better judgement, Glimmer tries to makes Adora understand that the Horde is evil. In the night, the girl sneaks away and gets lost in the Whispering Woods, where she finds a mysterious sword. (This a She-ra rewrite.
