Rumpelstiltskin has designed a deep physiological magical torture for the four children he and his partner Olivina hate most; Gilly, Devin, Heath, and Jax. When midnight comes, the four teens are subject to painful memories of the past and glimpses of the bleak future in the form of horrendous nightmares. One night, Devin does what should be impossible-she wakes up. Now, Devin and Heath have their memories back-but only till the dawn. Can they awaken Gilly and Jax and stop Rumpelstiltskin from reclaiming their memories before the sun rises?

This is an FTRS Jilly (Gilly and Jax) Au where the gang is 15-16ish but the story starts a few weeks after the actual series ends. Gilly and Jax were best friends. They had been for a while, almost two years (that's my best estimate of how long the FTRS series lasts). Ollie, Kayla, Maxine, AG, Jocelyn, Hayley, Jax and Gilly. That was the friend group. Oh, and Jack. Although he wasn't friends with all of them. In fact, him and Jax had a rivalry. Jax and Gilly were the closest. BUT they were just friends. Only it felt different now, somehow.

In this story Gilly and her friends are now 15/16 years old and it's been three years since they defeated Alva. They finally got over everything left from the war only for another one to start. Turns out good guys don't always stay good, in this story Gilly will face many challenges from realizing not all of her friends are still the people they used to be to having to fight said friends all the while making sure none of her friends think she's the one whose no longer on their side. Will our favorite Fairy-Tale Reform School heros be able to get through a war when their worst enemy is also one of their closest friends?

A few months after the final battle Gilly's still dealing with all the stress and anxiety of Alva trying to kill her, betrayals and a few physical injuries. (They are 15/16 in this fic bc it makes them easier to write :>) When Jax gets pressured into telling Gilly about his feelings before he wants to, she doesn't know if she's ready to have a relationship yet with all the presure surrounding her and her friends after saving Enchantasia. How will Gilly deal with all the presure and the pre-existing trauma? (Is this PTSD? Idk, if ur uncomfortable with it then plz don't read it, I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable)
