Giyuu lay dying on his 25th birthday recounting all the good times he spent with his friends before and after the final battle with the demon king and his servants. Yet, as he takes his last breaths and finally finds solace in the life he's lived, he is mysteriously transported back a whole 8 years in the past. Now faced with a second opportunity to correct his mistakes and save the lives of those he felt indebted to, what would he do? -Certain character ages may be changed for the sake of the story (specific birthdays will be explained later). -Manga spoilers (why would anyone read a fanfic about the end of the series if they didn't finish the story)

In a world where peace is not possible, The Hashira are the pillars of this world where demons exist. Within the Hashira, a Water Pillar and Insect Pillar exist. One is corrupted with rage, and disobeyed her dead sister's wish to live long and die old. She is out for revenge, blinded by anger. The other is lost in his depression and survivors guilt, unable to see himself worthy in this world that his best friend, and sister left him behind in. Two lost souls, although they find company in one another, both are unable to peruse eachother, as there are other people more dear to them. Is there more to this life right now? Can they really be happy? According to Giyomei, both Shinobu and Giyuu enjoy talking to each other. Take it as you guys will, being as besties or lovers.. We take a dive within more moments in their relationship. Mostly in the perspective of Shinobu. (this has been sitting in my drafts for so long, I've impulsively decided to publish this so pleasseee ignore any spelling mistakes or anything that doesn't make sense! I'll definitely clean it up! And so sorry if they are ooc!!)

Manga spoilers !!! After The final battle with muzan, the water piller lives a peaceful but boring life. As each day passes he starts to realize how much he cared for the hashira, especially shinobu. Soon after he starts feeling extremely guilty of not being able to protect them like sabito and his sister . However one night after he's fallen asleep , he suddenly wakes up in the past after a mischievous dream. He soon realizes he's in the past and has the chance to save his fellow hashiras and shinobu and more lives . The question is... can he do it ?
