What happens when one day a year you can go out and kill anyone you please -- with no consequences? It's up to you, stay inside and wait it out, or go out and join the celebration. Murder Day was my first dream turned short story, it inspired me to transcribe more of my subconscious wonderings and share them with you all. Some are frightening, some are sad, and maybe some day there might even be a happy one or two?

Everyone is hiding from something; a secret, a lie. Mine just happens to be a curse, one bestowed upon me before my first birthday; a curse that says I'm supposed to die before I turn sixteen. But that isn't going to happen, because I have a plan. You see, it's impossible to prick your finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel if you're locked in a cell.

"Are you rejecting me?" I ask, whispering as my heart was breaking into a million pieces. "No." he answers. "I...uh...huh...what?" I stutter. It didn't make sense. Why is he saying we can't be together but not reject me? "I just can't be with you." he says with a straight face, no emotion. "Then reject me." I tell him. "No, and you will not reject me!" he growls at me. "Wanna bet?" I start. "I order you not to reject me!" he growls, cutting me off. Edited by@callmelenaa
