Although, to his satisfaction, he swallowed any stupid comments or sounds. Except one- "You look like a chipmunk." Lance laughed, ruffling Keith's hair before disappearing out of the door and into the hallway. "Hey!" He shouted, tripping over his own feet as he scrambled upwards. The door clicked shut softly. From either side of the door, each boy had a moment of clarity, a soft smile adorned their face. Maybe this situation isn't that horrible. And, Lance was hungry. That too. - in which keith has been exposed to a mysterious gas, forcing his galra traits to bubble to the surface. and with this comes the troubles of accepting the other half of him, even after the galra captured his people. all the while lance has to deal with the fact that keith was brought here by red, the extension of his own quintessence. he's still struggling to grasp his own life.. what does it all mean anymore? (and the burning crushes they have on one another!)

"The rest of the team has probably gotten here by now, but Lance doesn't have it in him to care. The two of them throw themselves at eachother, grabbing at eachother like it'd be their last. Lance thinks he's choking, but he also thinks it's because of the way his eyes water and breath gets short. Keith, who, Lance notes, is an inch or so taller than he was before, grapples at Lance. He's babbling something in Lance's neck (it's either oh my god or just Lance over and over again). They both, undoubtedly, probably look gross. But, if you can guess, Lance doesn't give two shits. All he does, with that thought in mind, is grab Keith by his cheeks and kiss him. It's not long, but it feels like it. He missed Keith. Oh, how he missed Keith." -- When Lance died, he had no idea that Red would automatically reconnect with Keith. With the aftermath of both of these problems, the boys have to navigate through daily life-- Keith with the idea the love of his life is dead, and Lance dealing with the absence of Keith and the effect of his death on himself.

Keith Kogane is a college student who can transform into a purple creature at will- which includes fluffy ears and large, feathered wings.
