Shadow rescues Sonic after he is kidnapped by a crazy scientist who makes Robitnick look like a saint. However, after the rescue, Shadow and Sonic must hide in a cave for two days. Shadow is one of the top three teachers at Mobbious High. Very intelligent and determined to teach his students how ever he's not very good at connecting with them on a social level, that is until a new student is enrolled in his class and forces his way into Shadow's life.
