[COMPLETED] [Warning: Strong language used throughout the book.] He put his hand over my notebook and the other over mine. I glared up at him, his golden brown eyes catching my attention. "I can't write like this," I pointed out. "Is this all you care about?" Ryan asked. I shrugged. "Not this specifically, but yeah, I care about my grades." Ryan smirked. I swallowed nervously but refused to break my stoic expression. He leaned closer to me, my heart pounding so hard against my chest it felt like it might break out and fall on the table between us. His mouth was right by my ear, and I could feel his warm breath when he spoke which sent shivers down my spine. "Well, aren't you a little a scholar?" *** The only things Alex Moris ever cared about were his grades and his sister. However, when the boy his sister likes, Ryan Smithe, makes things complicated and causes him to feel things he's never felt before, Alex realizes that, maybe, there's more important things in life than grades and scholarships. Sticking two hot heads who've had it out for each other since day one didn't seem smart. But yet that's exactly what happens. Roman and Will didn't "click" together, the closest they were to having something in common was their swim team and their need to prove each other wrong. This is why they are given an ultimatum: They can give up their swimming scholarships or go to a beach house to mend their relationship. It was simple, they have to spend two months together. No communication with anybody else. Bonding exercises everyday. And absolutely no fighting for two months. Who knows what will come out of this?

Miller Spencer knows that it's normal to love your best friend. Ace has been his best friend since forever. So, of course, it's completely natural to want to kiss him. It is typical to get jealous when you see him with someone else. It is absolutely ordinary that you may or may not have certain fantasies that aren't civilized enough to be told out loud. It is simply impossible that Miller would make the grave mistake of falling for his best friend in the all too familiar and cliche trope. Or maybe, Ace is trouble and Miller is falling for him. (TW: mild to moderate.)

This is the rewritten (better!) version of Boys Will Be Boys DISCLAIMER: This book will contain foul language and general idiocy. I started writing this almost six years ago, and many of the writing techniques and actual content are no longer representative of me as a writer. Nonetheless, I do hope it makes you happy to read. CW/TW: (internalized and general) homophobia, other TWs are specified as needed in chapters *** "You good Keke?" I felt a hand slap my back and looked up excitedly, lips splitting into a grin when Lukas dragged a stool over next to mine. He nudged me with his shoulder, a small smile on his lips. "Don't fucking call me that, and yeah, 'm alright," I yawned, resting my head on my forearm and leaning so I could meet Lukas' eyes. "Just tired and sore" I admitted, letting my legs dangle so I could knock them into Lukas' in a repetitive pattern. He looked down in surprise, which soon turned to determination as we waged a silent war between who could kick each other harder and evade the other's attack. "Yeah, I'm still sore from last night too" Lukas murmured, wincing when I got him in the shin. "Same here" DJ piped in, echoed quietly by Roger who was still lost in his own world. "You guys make it sound like we had a massive orgy last night"

Asher Greenly never wanted to play football. But at Kingsly Academy--a school where the rich and powerful call the shots--he doesn't have a choice. If he wants to keep his scholarship, he has to suit up. The coastal town of Willowbrook might look like something out of a vintage postcard, but beneath the neon lights and old-school charm lurks something far more sinister. Student athletes are going missing. Some turn up dead. And no one is talking. Asher has spent his life hiding his darkest secret: he can see the dead, and they're interfering with all his plans to lay low for his first year of college. But when he catches the attention of Jackal Riley--the too-handsome, too-clever captain of the football team--Asher realizes he's not the only one keeping secrets. Jackal knows something about the disappearances. Something about the shadowy forces puppeteering it all. And something about Asher that he's yet to discover himself. Now, Asher is playing a game he never signed up for-one where losing doesn't just cost scholarships. It costs lives. And the people pulling the strings? They've already set their sights on him.
