Two beings lived in the same body.
One lived on the outside, naive and gentle, shaped by the warmth of hands that held her and a world that taught her how to feel.
One lived within, quiet and unseen, watching everything with a kind of love that never asked for anything in return. She believed every life had meaning. That everyone deserved to be accepted, to be understood, to be treasured.
She loved all forms of humanity.
She believed that an ending left open was the most beautiful kind.
That choosing everyone was not a loss, but a promise.
And in every life, she kept that promise.
She loved everyone.
She would always love Sakura.
Even if they were never meant to exist together.
Because they came from the same origin.
One was shaped by the love of many.
The other was shaped by the love she gave to all.
Twelve years pass before they finally meet.
Not through fate. Not through force.
But through choice.
And when they do, nothing is taken.
Nothing is lost.
They become something new.
Whole, in a way neither of them were meant to be.
But even then, something remains unresolved.
One wants to understand why someone could love the whole world so easily.
And the other wants to understand why someone would choose to love only one.
Somewhere between those two answers,
something begins to change.
