Kellin Quinn is a new student in a boarding school, his eyes set on his attractive english teacher Vic Fuentes.

Vic Fuentes never thought anything bad would happen to him. He had a pretty decent life; star-player of the soccer team at his high school, good grades, girls swooning over him. Vic never really took danger precautions seriously. One drunken night, he’s dared to go into the woods alone in the middle of the night while drunk to sleep there. That’s the night when his mindset about danger changed. Kellin Quinn-Bostwick was always the loner boy. His life was as low as someone’s life could get; abusive parents, bad grades, no friends. He was also openly gay. People never tried to tease him or taunt him about it; or about anything, for that matter. Everyone knew Kellin could kill–literally. He watches Vic and his drunken friends near the woods and decides, without thinking, how to ruin their night. He doesn’t know it yet, but Kellin only made Vic’s night better. Kellin's parents are doing a horrible job... at being parents. They ignore him and Kellin's friends are practically non-existent. So he draws; people, nature, anything. Anything to just escape the reality for a little while and lose himself in the world of sharpened pencils and smudged lines. He loves drawing and no one's gonna change that, not even Vic Fuentes who so unexpectedly enters Kellin's life. I'm not really good at writing descriptions so JUST READ THAT DAMN STORY!!! I've always heard the theory that being in an insane asylum corrupts your brain more than the actual disease does. Never did I realize I'd live that theory.

Kellin Quinn was a name no one heard. He is a loner, a nobody. No one cared when he moved schools. No one cared about the mysterious bruises and cuts on his body. No one cared when he was hospitalized for something his father did to him. He always thought no one cared for him. It's just how his life always went. So how does he cope when someone tries to show that they care about him? Will he be able to let them in or will he push them away? - - - This story may be triggering to some readers. This story does have self-harm, abuse, rape (not detailed. It happens twice), mentions of rape, and an abortion. The chapters where these happen will have two asterisks(**) next to the title. Kellin Quinn is your typical high school bad ass who doesn't care about anything but himself. Vic Fuentes is a good boy, always doing the right thing. When these two cross paths, Kellin accidentally falls hopelessly in love. He has to convince Vic to fall in love with him as well, but there's a couple problems: 1) Kellin's 19, going on 20, and Vic has just turned 15, and 2) Vic is addicted to harming himself. Can Kellin looking past these things to chase the one boy he's ever felt like he needed or will this love story end in an unspeakable tragedy? Read to find out.
