Wednesday and Friday Addams were sent to Nevermore Academy after they both got revenge for there brother. Friday's idea was a too dangerous so she was in juvenile for a month. There parents waited for Friday to finish juvenile before sending the girls to the school together. They weren't ready for the adventure they would have.
