Sebastian Calloway lived a quiet life of disappointment. He had been unemployed for more than four years and carried a binder filled with rejection letters. While volunteering at a local library, Sebastian miraculously finds a mysterious copy of the fourth entry in the Wings of Fire Winglets series. He decides to read the book for his own enjoyment, unaware that a single story about two runaway dragons would change him forever. This story is an alternative universe fanfiction that takes place before and during the prologue of Legends: Darkstalker and the events of Winglets #4: Runaway.
