Misty Fox is some teenager and it's a zombie apocalypse. I wrote this years ago and it's pretty bad. It's kind of embarrassing. I'm leaving it up for whoever enjoyed it before and also because it's kind of hilarious how bad it is and you might get a laugh out of it.

Every six months, the tenant living on the fifth floor vanishes. No warnings. No witnesses. Just a locked door and a name that fades from memory. When it's Lavanya's turn, she says she doesn't believe the stories. Until she finds a diary hidden deep in the wall, its pages filled with the lives of people who once lived where she does now. Each entry is colder than the last. Each one written with impossible detail. As the sixth month draws closer, her worries spike. The only thought troubling her is this : "Will the next name be mine?"
