Time has passed. Hyrule is getting rebuilt. Zelda on the other hand is not quite sure what to do. She is no longer a princess, She's a queen with responsibilities. A dark force is looming. Old friends are getting rediscovered but that boy. That man. Link. There's an unfinished story with him. This is my take on the universe. There will be new characters that aren't canon. There will be a few POV swaps but let's see if I can make this a cohesive story.

You and Link were good friends from the moment you met. You and him had grown close over your time together, but sadly he got quite busy and you were forced to part. Now that you and him are back together, you finally have a chance to go on a few adventures with him, like old times. And maybe tell him how you feel... before he gets caught up with something else. Months ago, an unknown virus broke out, turning Hyruleans into decaying corpses. Panic erupted throughout the nation, as more bitten Hyruleans turned, and soon, the affected areas were sealed off to prevent further spread. The situation seems bleak. All connection to the outside world has been cut off. The radios and TVs had gone out weeks ago. No news of help, supply crates, or evacuations. You don't even know if there is some semblance of normal life outside anymore, and it's certain that no one is coming to look for survivors. Now, it's just Link and you, the zombies, and whatever you can salvage from the wreckage that had been left in the mass panic. Perhaps there are other survivors out there.
