Time goes by and everyone grows up eventually. It's time for Gumball, Darwin and Anais to go to college. A lot of work was put into them even being able to go, and at last they've managed to make it. With this fresh start, they'll be reunited with old friends, as well as having a chance to make new ones. It's time for their College Years to begin. Okay, Sparta! You got your wish! This will be probably my most ambitious fic I've made, and, like Christmas With The Wattersons, it'll be taking place in the same universe as The Vacation AU. Consider this my idea of a prequel to it! I hope you all enjoy it!

It's been a year since Anais Watterson and her siblings graduated from Elmore University, and the boys' lives are beginning to come together. However, Anais's career path in science requires more schooling, and now that she's sixteen, she's striving to become more independent, so she attends another school away from home to complete her required education... But being out on your own still hurts, and so her brothers pay her a surprise visit to cheer her up! And on top of that... also deliver some exciting news to her! This is a one-shot tribute to the awesome Vacation AU that is written by @SpartaOfGreece! I'm a huge fan of this series, and I wanted to make this idea that I thought of as I was reading it! I do not own the characters in TAWOG or the AU that this story takes place in; all rights belong to Cartoon Network/TAWOG and SpartaOfGreece.

Set in future Elmore, Gumball and company have come a long way from their days as students at Elmore Junior High. Gumball now has finally settled down, and has forged a strong relationship with his childhood sweetheart Penny and has raised a family. Gumball has followed in his mother's footsteps by working in the Rainbow Factory, but as an accountant. The days are long and grueling, but now he understands what his mother truly meant by the joys of raising a family, and he wishes to spend more time with them, so he schedules a few days off. Unbeknownst to him, Penny has arranged for the entire Watterson family to join them on a vacation, one that will take them to the rural outskirts of Elmore National Park, California! After a hectic vacation, Gumball and his family are finally back home and ready to unwind, relax and enjoy the rest of their summer holiday with Nicole and Richard. For Tristan however, this is easier said than done. He hasn't been able to forget the many close calls that he and his family encountered during their family holiday, and one event, in particular, is continuing to haunt his dreams... A oneshot based on @SpartaOfGreece's future Vacation AU, set between the first and second stories.

It's been a year since the Watterson family went on their eventful Vacation, where memories were made, relationships restored, and self perspective found within our lovable blue cat: Gumball Watterson. This time around, Darwin has won a sweepstakes in contest, that allows him to bring the entire family along for round 2 of fun on a family cruise! The Watterson adults have also resorted to their old ways of fun since last Vacation, and the kids have certainly welcomed it. But...stranger tides lead the seemingly tranquil and relaxing vacation to an uncharted island....can the Watterson's still have an enjoyable vacation? Will they ever make it back to Elmore? After all the events during The Vacation- Trouble In Paradise, a year has passed and The Watterson family has only grown closer. Gumball has reconnected completely with his extended family, and in the space of a year, his children, Tristan and Penelope, have grown so much. He still has his loving wife by his side, he and his brother Darwin have grown closer over the events last two years, and as a result, both of their children now have close bonds to their uncles. Meanwhile, Anais is coming home to Elmore at last after spending 6 months away conducting her research for whatever it was she does (no one else in the family really understands!) and some time with all the family together will be just what she needs after being gone so long. Now another Christmas is on the horizon, and, not that anyone knows it, but it will be one to remember... This is a tribute story to @SpartaofGreece who is the author of my favourite TAWOG fanfic series "The Vacation" and I wanted to make this as a small Christmas special (and if Sparta wants to use it as a prequel for The Vacation 3 if a third one comes out, then feel free!)
