Tord has been plagued by the suicide of a loved one for almost a year. Barely taking care of himself and spending his days quietly sitting in his room. When Edd tries to reconnect with Tord, he offers that Tord comes back. Tord accepts despite the black figure and persistent voices telling him not to and returns to living with Edd, Matt, and Tom. Tord tries his best to pretend that he's fine but Tom senses that something is wrong and finds out a lot more than he bargained for.

They have completely destroyed civilization as we know it. Edd, Matt, and Tord were lucky enough to escape and find an army base that is completely secured and is ready for any monster attack. Tord soon raises up in the ranks of the base and is now the new leader. He tries to keep balance within this small group of people and hopes to find more survivors so that they may one day get their homes back with the help of his friends. But what happens when Tord comes across a mysterious fellow in the woods?
