People dropped like flies. Bodies washed up on the shores of Gotham Pier. They were found in alleys, garbage cans, high in trees, splattered on the street. Everywhere. The Gotham City Police Department couldn't keep up, not with all the bank robberies and corruption they had to deal with. And who was better to ask for help than the Greatest Detectives in the world? Oh, and Nico is there too. **This is kinda a one-shot series, but there might be an overarching story across a few chapters.**

The more Nico closes off, the more he begins to fall apart. Until someone finally sees through his shadows. But Chaos is watching. And the first move is already in play.

Bianca and Nico di Angelo have been running from the law for months, until they reach the most crime ridden city in America; Gotham. With the police focused on other crimes happening, they could finally live in peace. However, there is always an "until." The sheer density of human despair and darkness in Gotham is overwhelming, almost physically painful for him. He encounters petty criminals or a low-level gang, instinctively using his powers to defend himself, but he's disoriented and vulnerable.

Nico di Angelo is depressed stressed lemony zest. Its been a month since the second war, and Nico is still recovering from trauma. So Chiron came up with a wonderful idea, Nico di Angelo, goes on a break for two months. Off to the safest mortal city for demigods, Gotham. He's absolutley screwed, with in the first week he got hit by a car. Specifically the bat mobile. Ever since that incident the Batfam has been keeping tabs on Nico. Will they ever find out Nico is a demigod? Probably. Will Nico get adopted? Probably im the damn author. Any way this is my first fic and i really love DC and PJO so let me spread some inspired joy.
