Meanwhile at the Hazbin Hotel the crew was still recovering and rebuilding from the incident. Alastor the infamous Radio Demon was told to 'take it easy' for a while. As much as the Radio Demon would have 'loved' to help he did take the much needed time off. Later that hellish evening, Alastor and Vox were resting in their respective rooms. Vox was inside his room in the Vee tower. Alastor was in his room at the hotel. Suddenly a blinding light appeared before both of them swallowing them whole. When the opened their eyes they saw each other, and by the looks of it, they were no longer in hell either. For decades, he's used his silver tongue and natural charisma to help Rosie negotiate her contracts. Being bound to her service isn't ideal, but at least it keeps him comfortable. Of course, his talent is no match for someone like Vox. But their first meeting makes an impression nevertheless. Vox finds himself fixated on Alastor and compelled to possess him. So he does what any businessman would and makes a deal to buy Alastor's soul. A deal with Rosie, that is. After all, Alastor's soul is no longer his own property. Blindsided and bitter over the forced upheaval of his afterlife, Alastor plans to rebel in every way possible. But his brattiness does nothing to deter Vox, who's determined to find the obedient pet hidden underneath.

Vox never imagined the night would end like this: with Alastor tied to his bed, shirt torn open, breathing unevenly, ears pinned back against his hair-looking at him with a kind of intimate hatred that burned. "You two should just fuck already!" Valentino taunted, savouring the spectacle. And Vox could do it. He had the Radio Demon right there, bound and defiant, trembling with fury under his hands. Exactly where he had wanted him so many times. Exactly how he had fantasised about him, night after night-wanting him, hating him, craving him. But not like this. Never like this. Because for the first time, Vox realised that what he'd imagined for years wasn't dominating him... it was touching him without destroying him. And that terrified him more than any demon in Hell.
