With a bumpy start, the friendship between these two begins which soon develops into something more and problems come their way.

He is more confident with talking to girls now and actually had a girlfriend while he was in Hollywood. But now that he is back will our Hiccup finally tell Astrid how he felt about her all those years ago? Will Hiccups Past come to haunt him and how will all of Berk High react to the new Hiccup? The two Viking outcasts are then branded as traitors because they were discovered befriending a Night Fury, and they are accused of false crimes that further seal their banishment. No longer fit to live among the Vikings of Norway, Hiccup and Astrid set out to start a brand new life into the great beyond. Little do they know that their adventures will soon land them in a foreign land filled with new dragons, dangers and a war torn empire.

Night Rider - A httyd and Hiccstrid book. -Astrid's pov- 8 years. That's how long it has been. 8 lonely, cold, devastating years of my life that I will never get back. Every night I dream the same dream - every night the same day returns to haunt me over and over. That day dramatically changed my life for the worst. Why did that day happen? Everyone learnt to leave me in peace in the morning. Everyone knew my deepest, darkest secret that changed people's opinions of me forever. Everyone knew my arch enemy, but only 2 people know why he is my arch enemy. My friends still talk to me, just not in the same way as they used to - it's almost as if they are scared of me, or don't want to be associated with me. One day I want this to change. One day I want my life to turn around. One day I will truely be me again. One day I will be happy. One day I will be free. I cannot see that day in the forseeable future, but I know it will come, and I know somehow it is connected to my enemy. *I know that it is an over-used story line but I tried to spice it up a little. Kinda like how you may always eat a Chicken Masala and then you try a Vindaloo - they're both food and both curries but one is different from the other* There are extra chapters at the end containing side-stories of this book. It will make more sense when you read the chapter titled: 'The little boat' near the end of the book, but the actual story is 60 chapters long.

After getting the honour of killing a Nightmare, Hiccup leaves Berk with Toothless. It seems like he can't find peace as three years later the Hooligans find and capture him. Going back to Berk seems like a bad idea at the time, but Hiccup has to push aside all selfish reasons and help Berk. It gets a bit more difficult between a war on the horizon and the tension between his two worlds. (Irregular updates!) (Undergoing major editing and changes!)

This story is going to be different. Instead of being saved by Toothless, both he and Hiccup are presumed dead. Those are the 'death' that change the Archipelago forever. Clans reunited, the vikings grow stronger and the dragons have become a part of their life. In the blink of an eye, seven years have passed and the Archipelago has grown used to the peaceful nature of their new life. But how would they react when a war between two unknown forces are knocking at their doorstep. A war that could end the Archipelago or turn the Archipelago into something more.
