The story will follow the main story beats of the light novel, but events will be changed due to a close bond forming between Rimuru and the new monster. The bond will be explored along with the world around the two of them, giving more depth to the characters and allowing them to move outside of the main story's narrative. This is my first time writing something like this so I apologies if there are any glaring issues you may notice. Growing up, I always heard people telling my dad why is he teaching me about survival. What's the point? Those skills won't be useful in this modern day of age. Why would you need to know how to use weapons like a Bow or tell the difference between some planets or fruits? But my old man never listened and good thing he didn't. My mom on the other hand taught me basic life skills I need in my day to day life like sewing and cooking.
