The door of the dungeon slammed behind us. I was the most terrified I have ever been and it wasn't because I was six thousand miles from my home, in a dungeon that would be the envy of the Marquis de Sade, with two killers and the insane sadomasochistic transvestite owner of the dungeon. The transvestite was actually on my side. The two killers were actually our prisoners. My fear was due to the fact Rogue was being held by a gang of ruthless white slavers and it was only a matter of hours before they would be completely beyond my reach and I might never see Rogue again. I had to make the killers tell me where she was! Sequel to Sharing Afflictions.

COMPLETE Novel. (love, war, sex, gold, myth & deception... with a dash of comic relief:-) Bonus: **VOTE** on 2 alternate endings. In the desert, Julie and Flynn don't know whether they are alive, dead or simply in love. It's possibly all three, because nothing is simple in... Afghanistan, hot and perilous. But not compared to the fiery romance that burns between tempestuous Julie McNeill, a woman dedicated to protecting her adopted village, and the indomitable Flynn Montague, a soldier seeking fortune. They find themselves entrenched on opposite sides of a desperate conflict, but forces far greater than personal loyalties impel them to come together in a no-man's land where they must battle treachery, corruption and danger to discover the true essence of life, death and love.

Where in the secret to life the universe and everything is revealed. Who says entertaining writing has to have a story, or a plot? Why can't it be just a stream of consciousness, some interesting episodes from one's life, some regrets revisited, some apologies long overdue, some philosophical speculations and some plain nonsense to keep it entertaining?
