In order to be free from his new binds, Vox makes a deal with Alastor, so he could be able bodied. Alastor is slowly concocting a scheme to over-run the overlords of the pride ring, and plans to use his skillful word play to deal his way into higher grounds, treating overlords as pawns. With the hope that he'll have Lucifer himself on his knees for him. While under Alastor's control like a tragic puppeteer, Vox finds himself reminiscing old memories and wants to prove he can get big himself without the help of others whilst being under Alastor's rule by being himself. The once powerful video overlord, foolishly in love and devoted: in order to show his worth, he willfully plays for Alastor like a dog when given the slightest bit of verbal affection. And Alastor uses this to his advantage, remaining surrounded by demons he views lesser than him, in hopes to manipulate the Morningstars, Hell's Royals and Heaven itself for a higher authority to install fear in those beneath his heels.
