-Elemental Series- (Wind: Book 3) The wind can be a subtle thing, until Jerric gets a hold of it. He lives for the rush of a swirling tornado and blowing away anything that gets in his path. When encased in wind, Jerric feels invincible. He's addicted to the sense of power it gives him. Jerric is a very talented shifter, too talented at times. His winds have the signs of originating from the north, which worries his parents. Jerric secretly hopes so. He wants the northern wind god to offer him a place in his ranks. And with his help, Jerric dreams of becoming the strongest wind shifter who ever lived. Powerful enough to even dethrone the embarrassment known as the southern wind god, Notus. The sad thing is Jerric might do just that.

Aden Perri has problems. The last day of school his girlfriend calls it quits. And proceeds to move on a little too quickly. His friends disappear, leaving him to spend the summer alone. His mother buys a dog. Aden hates dogs. The scar on his leg confirms it. And his new job titles are garbage collector and toilet scrubber. At least he'll be out in nature, excepted he hates the outdoors. Aden's ready to barricade himself in his room, until school starts back up in the fall. His mother won't allow it, and his father is ready to do some character building. They drag him out and drive him to Beaver Lake. His father loads him with a bucket and a mop and sends him off to clean campground toilets. The local campers just laugh as the poor garbage boy wandered around picking up after them. All but one. One very strange, shirtless, barefoot boy who Aden will never understand. But the boy makes it bearable, so he'll let him stick around. It's not like Titus is really going to give Aden a choice anyways. *** I've been wanting to make the Demon Series into a graphic novel for years, and being on Tapas has made me really start to consider doing it. I had some of it posted before but I'm reworking the style-simplifying it!

[SAMPLE] In a world ravaged by holy war, Ari clings to one truth: mouths lie, but blood does not. When the past surfaces in fragments, he turns to Auovin, a demon who offers answers-and demands a price Ari does not yet understand. As the war's lies unravel, Ari's certainty fractures with them. What he thought was righteousness becomes control. What he thought was monstrosity becomes familiarity. The closer he draws to the truth, the more he is forced to confront the one thing he cannot outfight: what he is becoming. Daevas: Volume One opens a three-volume queer dark fantasy saga of remembrance, moral rupture, and the peril of being fully seen. For readers of Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire, it is a story where identity and monstrosity are impossible to separate.

Some of the characters may have been inspired by real people, but my characters are fictional and I've only used that inspiration as a catalyst. The real people/models/cast used to give a face to my characters are unknown to me, their lifestyles are not reflective of the lifestyles, interests or sexual orientation of the characters in this story. Any similarities are coincidental or inspired by articles I have read about these people...and then expanded and taken in fictional directions. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dedicated to @Tondada who came up with the title and helped with the character names and cast. :)
