#1 Teen Fiction | #1 Young Adult | #1 Romance "We all need someone to drive us mad." - The Wombats. He stared arrogantly down at me, a smirk plastered across his face. I sneered up at him with distaste, wanting to wrap my fingers around his neck and strangle that smirk off of him. He brushed my golden hair from my face, his long, slender fingers sparking electricity in my skin, making my knees wobble together. "Will you ever, forgive me?" he whispered huskily, his eyes intently staring into mine. His face was only mere inches from me. I just needed to reach out a little further to kiss him... "Yeah. Over my dead body." I snapped, before throwing my arms out forcefully, shoving my hands into his chest, pushing him from me. -*-*-*- He, is Carter Williams. I, am Lacey Adams. We were once, inseparable. The 'Golden Couple'. The unbreakable best friends, that everybody envied. Nothing could get between us. A part from being tighter than white on rice, we updated our status from friends to being in a relationship, frequently. We were neighbours, which meant our families were all close and even co-owned houses around our town. This, all is, until the day of my sixteenth birthday. Everything changed. The loving relationship we shared, was severed and torn apart. I couldn't hardly stand to look at him any more, without spitting fire that is. Every day is torture being around him. He was in all my classes at school and the window in my room was even directly aligned with his. So, what happens? My mother's mum gets sick, so dad and her fly out. Just them. Leaving me to stay with Carter and his parents, who are never home. We would be alone. In one house. Under the same roof. If I was insane before, I have no idea what I am now. © 2016 by LaurenJ22. Rory Kavanagh. The best rugby player Tommen has ever seen-well, besides his da, obviously. Johnny Kavanagh. The Johnny Kavanagh. Our parents are basically joint at the hip, best mates since they were kids. And naturally, me and Rory just... became mates too. That's the deal. That's what we said we'd be. Friends. Right? Friends. But like-come on. Have you seen him? His abs? That man has a six-pack like he's sculpted from marble. His hair? Brown and silky, like-like a shampoo ad or somethin'. And those eyes? The kind of blue that makes you forget your own name. I swear to God, I'm not even being dramatic. So yeah... maybe I've a teeny, tiny, miniscule crush on him. Can you blame me? No. No, you can't. I won't hear it. But I'm not saying a thing. No way. What if he just laughs? That'd kill me. So for now, I'll just pretend I don't stare at him for longer than is normal when he talks. For now, it's just friendship. Grand. ...But what if he does feel the same? *** Bethany Gibson. Jaysus. She's been my best friend since we were in playschool, like actually since nappies. She's pure chaos-loud, mad, always in trouble for something-but I wouldn't change a thing about her. Not one thing. She's class. Gorgeous too. Not just like "oh she's grand," no-proper gorgeous. Her blonde curls bounce when she laughs, and I swear it's like the sun's just following her around. Her eyes? Silver. Like not even grey-silver, like a flipping fairy or something. Every time she looks at me, I forget what I was saying. Which is not ideal when you're trying to seem normal, right? I've fancied her since I was about seven. Maybe six. But what am I supposed to do? Tell her? What if she just laughs and goes, "Ah you're gas," and then pats me on the head like I'm some lost puppy? I'd actually evaporate from shame. But then again... what if she does like me back? What if all this time I was too scared to see it?

She ran away from home with nothing but a broken heart and a car that barely made it. One fight, one night, one decision...and everything changed. Desperate for somewhere to stay, Avery answered an ad for a room and ended up moving in with Rhett...a tattooed, cold, pro hockey captain who thrives on control, discipline, and dominance both on and off the ice. Commitment isn't in his vocabulary. Neither are second chances. He's chaos in skates and trouble in leather jackets, sharp edges wrapped in muscle and attitude, and he makes it painfully clear that he doesn't want her in his space, in his routine, in his carefully controlled world. They clash from the start. Power against defiance. Fire against gasoline. Too similar. Too stubborn. Too damaged in different ways. She's soft, but not weak. A good girl who knows how to party, dance, and forget the world when the music gets loud enough. He's adrenaline and aggression, fueled by late-night games, bruised knuckles, and a hunger for control that doesn't turn off when the crowd goes home. Closed off. Possessive. Allergic to feelings. Living together becomes a dangerous game of boundaries, tension, and lingering looks that last a second too long. Every shared space feels like a challenge. Every accidental touch feels like a dare. Neither of them are willing to admit that the pull between them burns hotter than any fight on the ice...or that surrendering might be the one thing Rhett fears more than losing. But the past doesn't stay buried forever. Her mother returns to haunt her, reopening old wounds. And just when Avery starts to feel safe...just when it starts to feel real...Rhett does what he does best. He runs. Because falling is easy...but staying is the dangerous part. Warning: May contain profanity and sexual content.

I want to kiss her so bad. Her face is right there, infront of me and those eyes fuck me. I grabbed her chin pulling her head up. She's looking at me. I lean down placing my hand on her waist and pulling her in. We're pressed against each other now and she smells so fucking good my heart can barely take it. "I've wanted to do this for a long time". I whispered above her whisper inching her closer and a whimper escaped her lips. "May I". I asked and she nods her head before I slam my lips right over hers. Taking in her scent. Her lips are so soft. The soft moans she's letting. Fuck. She makes insane. [Grumpy x sunshine] ♡♡♡♡ "I'd risk my soul for her" ♡♡♡♡ Seventy days -started: Friday 8 July -finished: Saturday 29th july ♡♡♡♡♡♡ Enjoy..... <3

"You just have no idea." His voice was thick with restraint. "W-what," I breathed. His gaze flicked to my lips as his thumb stroked again. The calloused pad against my soft flesh sent goosebumps down my arms. His once warm eyes were dark as they lifted and bared into my soul. "What you do to... men." His husky whisper weakened my knees. I almost fell but his other hand settled on my hip, pulling me closer to him. "What you do to me," he added on a breath. The hand on my jaw shifted. His fingers left trails of tingles as he slipped them back slowly, under my earlobe and into my curls. *************************************************** As a young girl, Charlotte Avery's favourite pass time was daydreaming about her Prince Charming: Archer Johnson.
