Y/N is half and half. Her dad is a vampire, her mum is a daywalker. When they found out they were having a child. Her father left straight away, scared of what they would do if they found out about her. So instead, he shunned the pair from Shady side and let Y/n grow up with her mother and learnt how to use her daywalker powers, suppressing her vampire powers further.
