"So, may I ask, how has the Princess been faring since leaving Soluna?" Alistar asked while they both watched Cherri and Ren cast spells against the arena soldiers. "You know, she's been terribly homesick since the moment we got on the rowboat. Though I do think that having her father here has very clearly lifted her spirits." Apo replied as she saw Cherri burning the arena soldiers with a smile more radiant than the sun itself. "That's good to hear. You know, I wonder if roles will reverse between the two of you." Alistar chuckled. "What do you mean Alistar? I mean, I'll never be a princess." Apo asked. "What I mean is that Cherri and Ren are individually ten times more powerful than the two of us combined could ever dream of. I mean, wouldn't it be funny if the Princess became you're guardian?" Alistar replied nonchalantly. "Yes, it would be very funny." Apo said solemnly as her chest began to feel heavy with the realization that she's weak compared to Cherri and therefore useless as her knight.

Basically a slimeknight / Avery x Derek fanfic, except it's a parallel universe where Derek survives after the events of DAWTDE (Destroying a world that doesn't exist-MADE BY WIFIES ON YOUTUBE!), and he and Avery both cope with the events before finally meeting eachother. (P.S. Contents in the chapters may not add up to the lore from the arg, but it's just my own take + I'm trying to cope so pls bare with me and let's cope together, fellow sfawtde/dawtde fans.)

Days have passed since D3rlord3's (or rather, Derek's) sacrifice, and Avery hasn't been his best. He hasn't eaten properly, hasn't slept for many nights straight, and hasn't heard from his family members. Not that he minds, though. His thoughts are just focused on D3rlord3. D3rlord was the person who he longed to meet in person. Who he longed to speak with for more than just 12 hours... though that wasn't the case. Avery believed D3rlord was gone forever. Until he got a letter in his mail. The letter consists of some important scribbled words. The name of the world the King was once in. A task. A set of coordinates on it, specifically Minecraft coordinates. And the name 'D3rlord3'. The letter wasn't signed, much to Avery's dismay. Who wrote him this? A supernatural being? A random person playing a prank on him? Even with all the risks and possible scenarios, his curiosity got the best of him and he logged on. And so began, the 2nd Lord3 hunt. ITS SLIMEKNIGHT YAY WE'RE COPING!!!! (Cover art isn't mine I'll make one later) you are invited to my slimeknight party if you read this ♡ Warning: there might be swearing and other stuff

However an "ex" of his has heard from the grape vine that Abolish had a new partner. And he IS NOT happy about that. After that it's kinda chill actually. (This is a sequel to my story "a wither rose?" Where they get together I recommend reading that first.)

When Ren first joined Hermitcraft, he carried a constant, quiet tension in his shoulders-like he was bracing for something no one else could see. He had signed on as human. That was the agreement, the expectation, the role he was supposed to play. And Ren tried-he really did. Most days, he stayed carefully within that shape, that skin, forcing his posture to relax, forcing his instincts to stay buried deep where no one would notice them scratching to get out. He watched the others closely, mimicking little things: how they laughed, how they stood, how they interacted so effortlessly. It felt unnatural to him, like wearing a mask that didn't quite fit, but he was determined to make it work. Because if they knew... if they really knew... he wasn't sure things would stay the same. Even simple things became a challenge. The urge to pace when he was anxious. The way his focus would snap sharply to sudden sounds. The instinct to bare his teeth when startled, even if he caught himself before it showed. Every reaction had to be filtered, controlled, softened into something more human, more acceptable. It was exhausting-but Ren never let that show either. Most of the time, he managed. But the nights were harder. Especially when the moon was full. On those nights, Ren didn't leave his house.
