When Wei Ying fell down the cliff he doesn't know that inside of his clothes there is an unfinished talisman. "Just once more....one more chance." The talisman take four people back to the past: Lan Zhan, Lan Xichen, Jiang Wanyin and Wei Wuxian. The next thing all four of them knew they were in the past. He will not, however, admit to even slightly missing the boy when asked by the older nephew. During what seems like a relatively normal day, objects go flying around and cryptic messages appear in an unidentifiable crimson liquid, scrawled and messy.
