Two wide, pitch-black eyes replace his normal ones, and his lips become oversized and bright purple. Around his neck appears a matching purple ribbon, as if marking him as something no longer human. Lincoln is no longer just a boy. As he struggles to understand what he's become, his family is forced to protect him from the people who took him-those who now see him as a successful experiment they want back.
