Pugsley has always been the outlier compared to his other Addams counterparts. Instead of being cold and calculated, he was aimless and shooting for literal stars. He allowed his family to do whatever they wanted with him as long as he fit in. Whether that be literally fitting in a coffin as long as his older sister was smirking in amusement. While, yes, Pugsley was still strange in way-he still wasn't strange enough to feel like an Addams. He was but an imposter in a house full of psychopaths. Until, Eugene came around... Showing him that not being an Addams could be a unique thing about him, too. After all, Eugene was merely invisible to the mortal eye-now with Pugsley seeing him himself.
