This is my attempt to fix the wrongs of Voltron Season 8, and bring the series to a conclusion in my own way. While I'm sure people may disagree with some of my choices, I think most will agree that it'll be a little more satisfying than what we got. NOTE: the story takes place shortly after Season 6, and ignores both Seasons 7 and 8. Gonna try and update every week. Enjoy.

Keith was always good at running away, but he never thought where he was running to would change his life for the better. Keith runs away from the orphanage to the local park, where he makes a new friend, Lance. Years later, Kith and Lance go to The Garrison together, an elite military training base when the two boys discover their status. Lance is an omega, and Keith is something called a pure-blood alpha. The same day, Keith is taken to see the higher-ups, and he doesn't come back. Lance was told Keith was adopted by Shiro and they moved away, but is that really the truth? Lance is a popular football player. Practically the schools golden boy. His friends Hunk and Pidge add to it. They all get A's. Hunk is sweet and everybody loves him. Pidge is brilliant and people are afraid of her. Then Lance is the flirt. Attractive and all the girls love him. Then we have Shiro. Keith's older brother who used to go to Altea High. He used to play football and wants Keith to at least go to a few games so he can go too. He's engaged to Allura. A woman who helps out around the school. Keith is a loner. He's also a badass. He's not afraid to talk back to teachers and he has punched one of them. He repeatedly says it wasn't an accident but Shiro tells everyone it was. Shiro is repeatedly saving Keith from being kicked out of school and Allura usually has to help Keith with his wounds from fights inside and outside of school. People are usually scared of him and decide not to mess with him. That is until one stupidly handsome and annoyingly perfect golden boy comes into play.

After the war, out running humanitarian missions alone, the last person Keith ever expected to return his desperate cry for an extra set of hands was Y/N. The two grew up together but parted ways years ago over a sour argument. Now, back in space, the pairs travels lead them into the quantum abyss in search of a distress signal. Everyone knows not to get to close to the space-time drop offs, but what happens their ship falls into one?

Lance wants to tell everyone. Keith's too scared. They've been dating for three months at this point and completely love each other. Trying to keep the relationship to themselves isn't as easy as it seems. This will be more then just a secret relationship it'll show the growth of them together.
