Mariya...... In the depths of obscurity, a story unfolds. A tale of a girl who exists in the shadows, unseen and unheard. Her name is Mariya, a whisper in the wind, a faint echo in the silence. As I weave this narrative, I invite you to step into Mariya's world, a realm of perpetual twilight, where the lines between visibility and invisibility blur. At home, she's a ghostly presence, hovering on the periphery of her family's lives. Her parents, lost in their own worlds, barely acknowledge her existence. Her siblings, wrapped in their own cocoons, ignore her with practiced ease. In the halls of learning, Mariya haunts the shadows, unseen and unnoticed. Teachers glance over her, classmates brush past her, and friends... well, she has none. She's the quiet one, the invisible one, the one who disappears into the crowd. But what if I told you that Mariya's invisibility is more than just a feeling? What if I revealed that she's discovered a secret, a power that lets her fade into the shadows, to become one with the darkness? And what if I hinted that Mariya's not just invisible, but also waiting... waiting for the day when she'll be seen, heard, and understood? Waiting for the day when she'll emerge from the shadows and shine? That day is coming. And when it does, everything will change. Join me on this journey into the world of Mariya, where the invisible becomes visible, and the shadows come alive. Highest ranks : #9 Islamic love story #4 Hausa novels #9 arewa

He was silence that felt like storm. she was chaos that looked like ease. Hafsah Aliyu Yusuf is the girl everyone calls sunshine-always smiling, always helping, always carrying more than she lets on. Between her parents' crumbling marriage, her mum and brother's hatred for her, and the expectations of being the "good daughter," she's learned how to keep herself together. Books, poetry, and pretty abayas are her escape. Khalid Aminu Dikko is stillness in motion. A mechanical engineering postgrad with a matte black Ducati, unreadable eyes, and a silence that unnerves everyone around him. He doesn't talk much. He doesn't need to. Everyone either fears him, envies him, or wants him. They meet at a car show-her running a poetry booth, him passing through like smoke. No introductions. No explanations. Just a single zine passed between them and a tension that lingers long after. She falls first curious, soft, and unshaken by his silence. He falls harder-quietly, fiercely, and without warning. But when silence meets softness, what's left unsaid could be everything. A slow-burn, halal romance full of emotional tension, unanswered questions, and the kind of love that grows in the quiet.

By twenty-two, Zainab Bello had perfected the art of disliking men without apology. Not quietly. Not politely. Loudly, deliberately, and with enough reasons to justify it. Men talked too much when they knew too little. They took space like it was owed to them. They listened only when it suited them. And if there was one thing Zainab was certain of, it was this: any room that required her to shrink for a man was not a room she intended to stay in. So when the white Benz scratched her car and sped off without an apology that morning, she didn't see an accident. She saw proof. NOT A HALAL LOVE STORY!!!
