Wei Wuxian makes a new year's resolution to give up alcohol and get in shape and have a serious relationship. Both men end up meeting at the fruit stall where it is Lan Wangji who recognizes Wei Ying as the boy from sixth grade who used to really annoy Wangji. As Wangji talks about his new year resolution to make new memories Wei Wuxian explains how he's trying to give up alcohol, that too without rehab, Lan Wangji offers to be Wuxian's accountability partner and the best way to be accountable is to live together.
