I have every right," I replied, collapsing on the bed. "I do not mean to contradict you, mademoiselle, but you have had simply your freedom and your father taken away. He has had his whole body taken away and his whole life practically ripped out of his hands. Sure, he may have temper issues and he may be slightly vain, but he is trying. She walked towards him, like the serpent in the garden. She touched her finger to his forehead, and leaned into close, "You will become the thing you fear the most; a monster who lurks in the night; a soul lost from its path. You will be blinded by your own fear. As time goes on--and it will go on--you will be trapped by your fear until it consumes you. You will forever be a monster, and you won't be able to stop it." "No," he clamored, "I'll overcome it, I'll fight it every day until I die." "Oh, my dear, you will not die. You will be immune to death--a monster today, a monster tomorrow, and a monster forever. "Take me instead." I said with no hesitation. I felt my father's cold fingers wrap around mine through the steel bars. "Belle, no." He was cut off by another body rattling coughing fit. I don't know how I knew, but the man hidden in the shadows softened somehow, thinking over my proposition. "You would...take his place?" Papa yelled out more protest, but I ignored them for now. "If I did...would you let him go?" "Yes..but you would have to stay here forever." I bowed my head, my mahogany waves come forward as a curtain to hide the shame written on my face. Forever?...Was I really willing to give up my freedom to a man who I just met? "You have my word." I heard myself say "Done." He sneered as he dragged my father by his shirt collar, leading him up the stairs and out of the damp dungeon.

"I'm here to take the place of my father," Bella said, her heart pounding with fear. The beast smirked, his face the epitome of evil. "Well then, I hope you enjoy the dungeons because from now on, that is going to be your home forever," he whispered as he walked closer to her before bending down, his lips hardly an inch from hers. ----- Arabella has no qualms taking the place of her father in the isolated castle hidden in the woods if it means saving him from a horrid beast. Perhaps she will find out that the Beast is not as bad as it seems to be. But will time run out before Bella can save the Beast and her friends from the curse, causing her to lose them all forever?

Carmen had always found her life as a daughter of an antique shop owner to be ordinary and adventure-less. Almost all of the members in her town think she's odd and the richest man in town wants to marry her, but she wants something else. One evening on a business trip she and her father get lost in an old almost abandoned castle. However they are not welcomed and the beast who lives there let's them know that right away. Carmen begs for her fathers freedom and the beast allows him to live if his only daughter agrees to live the rest of her life in this castle with the beast. Carmen agrees to live with the beast in his castle and as time goes on she begins to realize that this castle and the beast himself are not all that seem to be. Deathly silence echoes through France as a storm settles across the land. Dark monstrous roars of thunder and ravenous lightning forks across the obsidian sky. A castle looms in the twisted woods, guarded by bloodthirsty wolves. The castle shudders in the night. Strange people turn to household objects. Frozen forever. A beast prowls the west tower alone and confused around a glass vase holding a rose, its pedals dead around the delicate stem. Eternal winter freezes it's walls. The castle falls into darkness, never to see a humans love again. DISCLAIMER: i do not own beauty and the beast. All characters belong to Disney, however the story line and my own characters are mine.

Once upon a time in the hidden heart of France, a handsome young prince lived in a beautiful castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was selfish, spoiled, and unkind. He had an entire army of servants there to attend to his every need, most of which were there since his childhood. The prince nearly hated his staff, even when they'd done nothing wrong - and were only trying to meet his needs. One night, during one of the Prince's courting events - a special type of ball, where dozens of young woman would dress up and dance with the prince, in an attempt to win over his heart and become queen to the Kingdom - An uninvited guest arrived. It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. But the enchantress also placed the curse upon his innocent castle staff, who were transformed into antiques; suffering for the prince's mistake(s) in small, rusting, metallic bodies. Life was hard enough for the staff, but now - it was unbearable. ~ This story will go through the staff's struggles before, DURING, and after they were cursed. It will also fill plot holes and extend the ending of Beauty And The Beast. A majority of this story is a prequel, and will fall into a bit of a sequel as well, so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

OK so this is the classic story written my way. Adam is cursed and is is searching for a way to break the spell. Faith is looking for a place where she belongs. And naturally their paths intertwine and thier fates are bound together.
