A lone kitsune within an endless wilderness. The life of a Catastrophe Messenger is one of uncertainty. With no end in sight, they traverse the incredibly hostile landscapes that define Terra beyond the walls of the nomadic cities, collecting and delivering vital information for the survival of Terran civilization against the onslaught of devastating Catastrophes. The story follows Apollo, a kitsune-turned-Catastrophe Messenger, through the many areas and aspects of Terra that individuals outside his profession will never get to witness. All while ensuring his own survival among an environment where nature itself is out for blood. "It's all about saving lives. More lives." ...How naive. If only it were that easy. Deadly anomalies. Dangerous wildlife. Tensions between factions whose effects cannot be avoided, even in the middle of nowhere. And a haunting past. In short... business as usual. Time to get to work. This story is a bit like Arknights meets Death Stranding, since the job of a 'Catastrophe Messenger' and general situation is strangely similar to a 'Porter'. It will operate almost completely independently from the plot of the game itself. This story is thus aimed more towards readers who like to immerse themselves into a unique perspective of the world of Arknights and not into a recreation of the in-game plot. So if you like Arknights, but can't wrap your head around the game's plot, then this story should fit for you. (Definetly not an excuse for the fact that the author is just interested in the general worldbuilding itself and not the game's plot directly.) As such, mistakes are to be expected, for this is my first experimental dive into the world of Arknights. Feel free to correct them if found. The 'Mature' tag is only for occasional descriptions of injuries and blood, as Messengers often face dangerous situations that can cause injury and sometimes even death. These will not be constant and not extreme. Arknights belongs to Yostar.

THE CROWN EATER In another world, Haru Urara was known as the girl who never won. A small Uma Musume from Kochi who lost 113 races in a row... yet kept smiling, kept running, and was eventually loved by everyone for her unwavering spirit. But this world is different. In this world- Haru Urara never loses. From the moment of her debut, she tears through racetrack after racetrack without ever understanding why people slowly begin looking at her with fear in their eyes. At first, people loved her. A tiny underdog who kept winning felt like a miracle. But after her eighth victory... that miracle began turning into something suffocating. The media became obsessed with her. The internet started hating her. And one by one, her rivals began to break. And in the middle of all that, Haru kept smiling innocently like always. Because to Haru- running had always felt fun. She didn't understand why people cried after losing to her. Didn't understand why the stadiums grew quieter whenever her name was announced. And didn't understand why the world had started calling her: Evil Haru Urara. The Crown Eater. A psychological sports drama about: victory, pressure, expectations, the fear of failure, and a girl who never learned how to lose. Because sometimes... a winning streak that never ends can become the cruelest curse of all.

Title 2: I Wanted the Wolf King, but I Got the Warmaster Before the Fall. Transmigrating into the most despair-inducing Underhive wastes of the 41st Millennium, Kaelen, a mere mortal, thought his days were numbered. When his cheat system finally activated, he prayed for one thing: Just give me Leman Russ. I need the Wolf King to survive! [Ding! System error. Target locked: Davin. Salvaging soul...] Instead of the loyalist Wolf, a dying giant crashed before him, his soul teetering on the edge of Chaos corruption. It was the Warmaster himself. Horus Lupercal. Staring at the tragic, uncorrupted demigod covered in scars, Kaelen went completely silent. "Horus," Kaelen sighed, pushing up his goggles. "Your father is a corpse on a golden toilet, your brothers have all gone insane, and the Imperium is a rotten hell-hole." Horus: "...?" No divine bloodlines. No genetic enhancements. Just a mortal commander armed with future knowledge, a glitchy system, and the most powerful Primarch in history serving as his loyal sword. If the galaxy is broken, they will carve a bloody path from the Underhive to Holy Terra to fix it. 🩸 [The Ultimate Fix-It]: Erasing the tragedy of the Heresy. Horus never falls, and the traitors will bleed. 🧠 [Mortal Domination]: Watch arrogant Space Marines and Chaos Daemons experience absolute cognitive shock when outsmarted by Kaelen's ruthless modern strategies. ⚔️ [Purging the Dogma]: Slashing heretics, kicking the Golden Throne, and reviving the Emperor's true dream. 👑 [Building a New Order]: From a desperate survivor to the shadow ruler of the Indomitus Crusade.

Mike is a normal high school student. To most he would seem unimpressive. Average grades, social life and hobbies. One fateful day, he and his classmates get summoned to another world but before they arrive they enter a spiritual realm that is filled with armour and weapons. There is not enough for everyone so Mike volunteers to not choose anything. As everyone else arrives Mike stays for a little longer as another suit of armour appears. This one he recognises as space marine armour from Warhammer 40K that looks a little more fantastical. The suit however has an owner named Azakael and as they interact, they merge with each other becoming one being. Now as one, they venture forth into the unknown world. Warhammer 40000 is owned by Games workshop. This is a work of fan fiction and I do not own any characters or terms from Warhammer. Original characters are mine.

In the grim darkness of the far future, the galaxy is a theater of unending slaughter, yet it lacked the chittering, manic chorus of the "Yes-Yes!" To rectify this void, Lucius descends upon the stars as the Great Horned Rat, robed in tattered grey and brimming with malevolent divinity. Leading his verminous swarms, he plunges into the brutal cesspit of the 41st Millennium to carve out a domain of ruin. With the arrival of the Skaven, the balance of power shifts toward total anarchy. The Great Devourer meets its match in a rival swarm whose hunger is just as insatiable, while the Imperium of Man learns the true meaning of "unending numbers" as tide after tide of rat-kin drowns their worlds. Even the Necrons stare in cold calculation at a foe that wields green-glowing warpstone weaponry with a reckless abandon that mirrors their own. To the Orks, Lucius issues a challenge across time and reality: "Greenskins, we have slaughtered your kind from the World-That-Was to the Age of Sigmar and now into the 41st Millennium. If you have the stomach for it, come and face the swarms once more!" Experience a tale of skittering madness and galactic conquest as the Under-Empire rises to consume the stars.
