❝I get these nightmares from time to time, it's nothing.❞ Christine explained, accepting the water Felix handed her. He clicked his tongue, ❝I know what you mean Pom-Pom, seems like everything's a nightmare these days.❞ Everything seemed to have been in slow motion, the half-empty glass falling, her heart thumping against her chest, and her scared, blue eyes made contact with his. Her hands clammy and face pale, ❝What did you just call me?❞ Her voice cracked as Felix's usual snarky composition was replaced with a look of anxiety. It's been eleven months since Christine awoke in an abandoned building. Eleven months since she's been plagued by reoccurring nightmares of a circus, animated characters, and a certain purple haired bunny she couldn't quite get out of her mind. As Christine grapples between the line of reality and insanity, an unexpected encounter with a stranger ignites a spark of recognition. Felix, haunted by his own knowledge of the circus, finds himself drawn to Christine's vulnerability. Christine seeks answers, while Felix wrestles with the burden of the truth, unsure whether to reveal it or protect her from the horrors of their shared past. WORD COUNT: 57,555 WORDS

Caine had a breakdown. The circus collapsed and everyone was freed. Everyone remembered their names. Everyone got their bodies back. Caine had reached his breaking point. After being told numerous times his adventures were pointless. Torture even. He realized there was no point to his existence. He can't create fun. He creates digital hell. He glitched out. Crashed. The circus died with him. Christine (Pomni) went home first. Sprinted out of the building where everyone was spit out so fast she didn't see anyone's real face. When she knocks on the door, her mother breaks down in tears and pulled her into a hug. She had been missing for nine months. Nine months of questions she doesn't know how to answer. She tries to explain where she's been, but the words sound impossible-even to herself. Felix (Jax) returns to a house filled with memories he ran from. The last time he was there, he'd left after a fight with his mom's boyfriend. Awful words were said. But he ran, never looking back. Now he had to face the question he's been avoiding: after everything, does he still belong there? This is a story about two people rebuilding lives that kept moving without them. About finding familiarity in a world that no longer feels the same. And about a friendship that survives the circus-proving that even after everything falls apart, some connections don't disappear. In fact, they grow deeper... Most of it will have no major storyline and will be like a little slice-of-life book. (Which Jax would hate) NO SMUT or LANGUAGE PLEASE READ CHARACTER BACKSTORIES BEFORE THIS! THE LATER CHAPTERS RELY ON IT QUITE A BIT

⚠️WARNING⚠️ This story contains violence, psychological harassment, psychological and physical abuse (there is nothing sexual at all, and this is a serious topic, don't play with it, never normalize it) • • • Uzi, the ultimate idol, rises as the undisputed star in a world flooded with spotlights and deafening screams, an unattainable figure who, due to her unmatched brilliance, seems destined to be the only one capable of leaving such a profound mark. In a sea of admiration and manufactured perfection, no one else could claim that place, but... what remains when the lights go out? This story is somewhat inspired by Oshi no Ko (it's not the same story), and also, in part by my own experiences from the past, something personal, but what inspired me the most was Oshi no Ko
