A few weeks after beating Vecna, Steve finds himself struggling with nightmares. Again. Little does he know, Eddie is in the same boat. (A/N: Its a bit slow at first, but after the first couple chapters it'll speed up a bit. Thanks for reading!)

Eddie offers Steve the world and is crushed when he denies it, however instead of saying okay he forces him into his life using his adopted son Dustin, against him. Steve must now do everything Eddie says or the consequences will be harsh.

Dustin put a hand on Steve's shoulder, "Are you okay?" Steve didn't know what to say... He wasn't okay...a guy who he thought he had not one connection to only to have the biggest connection to was dead and he was only now feeling it. And he'd also be only the second person he'd ever tell "I love you" to And he could blame the drugs but he knows it wasn't that... "I-I'm fine Dustin..." it takes him a lot to say it but he does, also adding a smile even though it's painful and it's fake. Dustin stares at him but doesn't ask further, handing him an envelope, "Well okay, this is the letter." "Oh..." "Do you know what it contains?" "I do, not the nitty gritty but a big factor of it I have a bit of a hunch about but if I told you Eddie told me that he'd kill me and I'm not in the mood for a haunting..." Steve rolls his eyes. "Dustin don't be so dramatic..." And Steve's about to open the letter but Dustin puts his hand out, "Actually...Steve..." Steve finds himself stuck in a time loop which leaves him questioning exactly the reason why and who exactly is doing this to him and it just so happens that a raven haired metalhead is his best bet on finding out what's going on. Steve and Eddie ending up together is unthinkable. Or is it?

Steve dosent know what he is, or how he feels. Or how Eddie Munson makes him feel... It's all so confusing to him... He likes Eddie Munson? But he's not gay? What the fuck is he then?!...

Eddie and Steve do not like each other. But they make an effort for the sake of Dustin. When they realize that they don't really hate each other, Eddie confides in Steve and their bond strengthens.

"Well you're the one that was joking about being gay. So I guess both of us were saying stuff we didn't mean." Ouch. "Be careful Munson you might hurt my feelings." Eddie looked over at him and rolled his eyes. "Fine Harrington don't get your panties in a twist. I think you're adorable, better?" Steve grunted and turned away. "Awe come on baby I'm sorry." Steve's eyes went wide and he turned to Eddie. "What'd you just call me?" Eddie shoved the blunt between the boy's lips, "relax Harrington I was just joking." Steve threw the blunt on the ground and put it out. "Steve, what the hell?!" "Say it again." Eddie's eyebrows furrowed, "say what?" Steve's hand cupped Eddie's cheek and he rubbed his thumb over it. Eddie comes back, but it isn't exactly him. He has the same mischievous smile and charismatic personality and sweet eyes, but there's something different now. He died in the Upside Down and now is back, no one knows exactly why or can explain how, but one thing is for sure: Eddie has changed. He has a thirst for blood now. And Steve's blood seems to be one he's particularly hungry for.
