Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying. Katsuki catches on to the staring and signs at him, even though he can't understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katsuki turns to the taller boy, clearly in a pissed off mood. "Yes, I am signing about you." He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost. "He says that yes, he is signing about you." He translated. Understanding takes over Shoto's features as Katsuki realizes what Midoriya must have just done. Izuku midoriya, a boy who is now 15 years old. He used to have it all when he was younger. A happy family, friends, and an overall amazing life. But sadly, all good things come to an end. At the age of 6 his father found a new woman to love and abandoned his family. This caused Izuku's mother, Inko Midoriya, to run away with her son. She ends up abandoning Izuku in an orphanage to get rid of and extra mouth to feed, hoping he'd be safer there, but things never seem to work out for him, do they? He fell into a dark pit of depression and suicidal thoughts. Which led to harsh teasing and bullying from the other children at the orphanage. Of course the workers there never cared, why should they? To them he was just a burden, a waste. He couldn't take it anymore. The neglect, abuse and bullying got to him and he ended up running away to god knows where, hoping to find a home, somewhere to feel safe. But ended up homeless once again. He thought nothing would get better he decided he would give up trying to continue his miserable life, but a ray of sunshine, a ray of hope, stopped him and took him in. Someone who cared for him. His name was Katsuki Bakugo. This is the story of how Izuku fell in love with this boy, and found true bliss and joy. After Izuku and his father get involved in a car accident when he was only fourteen, he finds himself paralyzed from the waist down and stuck in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. With his father passing away in the crash, Izuku is raised through his teenage years by his mother, and he manages to get used to living with wheels. Although his disability keeps him from doing a few things, he still manages to live a decent life and make his way around with ease. However, his life changes when he accidentally runs into a person on the street, causing the tall man to spill his coffee. Izuku is the one to get splashed with the hot liquid, but still feels bad about the incident and offers to pay for the blond's coffee. The man is none other than Katsuki. Even though he's in a bit of a rush, on his way to work, he finds himself falling for a freckled guy in a wheelchair who was kind enough to buy him another drink.
