❝Maybe I'm too busy being yours to fall for somebody new ❞ He writes songs that make millions feel butterflies . But when it comes to her, he can't write a damn thing that doesn't hurt. She is used to being a footnote, he is used to being the headline. Clara Bell was the quiet overachiever - the girl who hid behind perfect grades and classic books. Alex Turner was noise incarnate - chaos, spotlight and the rockstar everyone wanted a piece of. She only meant to work part-time at a library. He only meant to escape the chaos for a while. She never planned to be his muse. He never planned to be her downfall. Neither meant to find home in the wrong person. But now they're tangled in a story that sounds a lot like a love song - and hurts twice as much. Because some love stories aren't made for the spotlight. They are made to wreck you.

Within the metallic walls of Perimeter One lies the last known safe community. Inside, every citizen serves one of three roles: Director, Warden, or Harvester. No one leaves the wall. Beyond it waits the wilderness - vast, deadly, and unknown. Ariah has spent her life inside the assembly blocks, preparing for the day she must choose her future: remain among the Harvesters who provide for the community, or become a Warden, tasked with teaching and protecting the next generation. The wall itself is forged from an ancient metal known as Aegisite - impenetrable, powerful, untouchable. No one questions it. No one dares cross it. Until Ariah finds the hole - and realizes the wilderness is hiding more than anyone inside Perimeter One was ever told.

The knife kissed his throat-cold and very precise. ❝Don't move,❞ Morgana's voice said behind him. ❝Not a muscle.❞ Sage froze. He felt her breath at his nape, warm against the blade's promise. She knew exactly where to place a blade. ❝How did you get out of your room?❞ he asked calmly. ❝Step forward.❞ He obeyed. She guided him through the narrow corridor, backing him against stone, trapping him there. The knife pressed closer now-close enough to hurt. ❝Drop your sword.❞ It hit the floor. ❝You're going to get me out,❞ she said. ❝Out of your reach. I don't care where you send me-as long as I never have to see Procris Saxon again.❞ Sage smiled faintly. ❝And why would I do that?❞ The blade bit, just barely. ❝Because if you don't,❞ she said, ❝I finish what I started.❞ Silence coiled between them. Then Sage moved. In a breath, the knife was his. Her back met stone. His forearm blocked her escape, the blade resting beneath her jaw. ❝You bastard,❞ she hissed. ❝Careful,❞ Sage said softly. ❝Any movement, and this becomes... unfortunate.❞ Her pulse fluttered wildly beneath the knife. He felt it. She knew he did. ❝Do it,❞she said. ❝You've wanted to since the day we met.❞ Sage leaned closer,Their eyes locked. ❝Tell me,❞.he said slowly , dangerously,.❝why I shouldn't.❞ *** Power is never inherited cleanly. It is taken-by fire, by blood, by betrayal. Sage Saxon, High Marshal of Wein, is the Queen's most loyal weapon-and her most dangerous liability. What he does not have is freedom. And Morgana Hawthorne is nothing but a pawn to get that freedom -THE CROWN.Or at least that's what Sage thought. Morgana of Bellorophen wants none of this. But when survival demands a contract sealed in vows, she has no option but to marry the man she vowed to kill. Their marriage was designed to end. strategic , temporary, and controlled. Love, unfortunately, does not follow design.

They say Aurelia killed her sister. The evidence is clean. The motive is obvious. Even her own family looks at her like she's guilty. But Amelia's been dead for a year, and she's still whispering in Aurelia's head. Every memory feels wrong. Every mirror looks back a second too late. As she navigates the treacherous landscape of her own memories and the tangled web of her sister's manipulations, Aurelia must confront the truth about her past and the truth is more sinister than you think. ~~~ To prove she's innocent, Aurelia has to untangle the web her sister spent a lifetime weaving-lies, secrets, and a game that never ended. The problem is, the deeper she digs, the more she wonders... What if Amelia never wanted her to escape? What if she's still playing? Can she escape the shadow of a sister who never wanted to let go? ~~~ "Am, come back! Where are you going?" I try to chase her, but the closer I get, the further she disappears. "Please come back! Come back. Where are you going?" I try so hard to catch up, but I end up falling face-flat onto the sand, which becomes my confidant. As I try to get up, what she says next sends shivers down my spine... "It's all your fault." TW *Strong language *SA *Violence *Mental health issues

This is a story set in the 1950s. A time when women need permission for almost everything- where they work, what they say, even how loudly they are allowed to exist in a room. The story follows a woman named Ophelia. A wife. A secretary. A woman learning how to survive inside rules she did not write. Her life is ordinary in all the expected ways. Until she is fired for speaking when she should not have, and sent into the orbit of a woman who should not be as powerful as she is. A female CEO, in a world built to make women small. Ophelia is not supposed to look at her too long. But she does. And in a world where men decide what is proper, what is allowed, and what is dangerous, two women are not meant to choose each other. But they do. Now love is not gentle. It is not safe. It is something that has to survive scrutiny, control, and consequences. And Ophelia is no longer sure whether what she is risking. Is it her reputation... or her entire life. #1 opression #51 matureaudience #8 feminism #29 sapphic #5 1950's #61 bisexual
