She had no one left to talk to. So she talked to him - a man who would never reply. For five years, Vaanika Subramaniam poured her soul into the DMs of a stranger. Not for attention. Not for love. Just to survive. To feel like someone, somewhere, might be listening. To the grief clawing at her chest. To the rage of growing up in a house that fed on silence. To the pain of being a girl the world tried to break - gently, slowly, and then all at once. That stranger? Ekaansh Vashisth. Actor. Icon. Lie. India's most beloved face - with a smile curated to perfection and eyes that forgot how to feel. At 34, he's drowning under fame, betrayal, and the unbearable noise of being wanted by everyone but loved by no one. Until one night - In the haze of heartbreak and insomnia - He opens his DMs. And finds 20,000 messages. From her. Messages that read like confessions. Like poetry. Like someone saw him without ever looking. And for the first time in years - he listens. While he is finally heard. What begins as curiosity becomes obsession. Because her whispers sound like home. Because she was unraveling - and he was the thread she didn't know she was clinging to. - This is not a love story. This is two broken people whispering into the void - and somehow, finding each other there. An age-gap slow burn. A story of unseen love, aching silence, and the way two strangers can unknowingly become each other's lifeline.

Architect Raghav, 31, still grapples with the void left by his wife's death three years ago, a tragedy that coincided with the birth of their son, Yug. His world revolves around his young child and the lingering echoes of his past love. Meanwhile, Gayatri, 36, embodies the picture of a devoted wife and mother to her two children, 10-year-old Shruti and 8-year-old Mihir. Unbeknownst to her, the foundation of her seemingly happy marriage is crumbling under her husband's long-standing infidelity. Their paths, marked by individual grief and unforeseen betrayal, are destined to intersect. This is a poignant story about finding unexpected hope and rebuilding trust amidst personal turmoil. It explores the delicate journey of two souls navigating the complexities of loss, single parenthood, and the courage it takes to open one's heart to a new beginning. As Raghav and Gayatri's lives intertwine, they might just become the anchors the other desperately needs, learning to heal and perhaps, find love again in the face of their shared vulnerabilities. #The Second Dawn

A side story to my third book SKELETON IN THE CLOSET, about Viraj and his wife Jiya but can also be read stand alone, a feel good short story with all good stuff. Jiya is a placid river at the base of snow peak and viraj the peak himself, has a mountain of distance between them, there's no hope for a meet up. But comes the temperatures to melt down the hard snow into water and mixing up with the river flowing below. seems like destiny has a way of it's own. Same intention but different direction!

Life is cruel, but sometimes strangely kind. Failure can break you-but what if it also reshapes you? What if the pieces you thought were lost are only waiting for someone else's broken pieces to complete them? This is not a story of perfect love. This is the story of Dhruv Rajput and Ishita Ranawat - two souls scarred by betrayal and pain, who once believed love and marriage were nothing but cages. Dhruv Rajput: a brilliant criminal lawyer, self-made, ambitious, fearless. Yet behind his perfection lies a quiet tragedy - betrayal that shattered his faith in love. His only anchor is his eight-month-old son, Akay. Love? For Dhruv, it's just a mask for the ugliest truths. Ishita Ranawat: strong yet delicate, soft yet unbending. Born into a family that saw daughters as burdens, forced into a toxic marriage, she watched her dreams and identity fade. When she gave life to her daughter, Vamika, she was cast aside. For Ishita, love is a cruel illusion. Two broken people. Two innocent children. Can Akay and Vamika become the reason their parents find light again? Can they heal wounds too deep and make their parents believe in second chances? When destiny forces Dhruv and Ishita into an arranged marriage neither wants, their hearts resist, their scars protest. But love has a way of seeping through even the hardest walls. Will Dhruv learn that not every woman betrays? Will Ishita discover that not every marriage is a cage? His Arranged Wife is a story of strength, trust rebuilt, and wounds healed - where two broken halves may finally find their whole.
